How This Site Was Built
A breakdown of the technical decisions, design philosophy, and tools behind this portfolio. For those who care about the craft.

Design Philosophy
Brutalist Minimalism
Sharp edges, no border radius. Every element is deliberate. If it exists, it has a purpose.
Typography as Hierarchy
No color for emphasis—only weight, size, and luminance. The Cinzel display font adds gothic character without cosplay.
Purposeful Motion
Animations serve function: page transitions, scroll reveals, state changes. Nothing decorative.
Dark by Default
Deep charcoal (#0d0d0f) base, not pure black. Easier on the eyes, more depth in the shadows.
